About me

Born in Alexandria from Armenian parents we emigrated to Montreal in 1963 where I completed all my schooling and eventually graduating from McGill University. All during my childhood well into my twenties I was involved in the Armenian community in Alexandria and Montreal. AYF, Homenetmen-Gamk Basketball and various activities. Recently I was on the Homenetmen Gamk executive committee for two years. In 2016 I travelled to Armenia for the first time for two weeks. An emotional trip that left a lasting impression on me to say the least.
My son and daughter participated in the world games in Yerevan as swimmers in 2015. My daughter completed an internship in Urban Planning with Concordia U. in Yerevan and returned the following Summer to gain employment and live there for a few months. Since then she has kept in touch with many friends and plays soccer for Homenetmen. My son has been working with IBM in Singapore for the last couple of years. My French Canadian wife is also a teacher.
